Hatch Shell, Sleepovers with Mia, Brunch Club

On Friday, I took the Red Line to Kendall/MIT and then a shuttle bus to Charles MGH to explore the area around the Hatch Shell. It was a nice area, even though there were no events going on. I had been to the Beacon Street area before, but it was my first time exploring the area around the Hatch Shell.

For the next night and a half, I slept at Mia’s new apartment. She moved in over the weekend and invited me to stay over with her until Molly got back. On Friday night, everything was smooth, and I was out, although on Saturday night, I had trouble falling asleep and eventually went home around 1 am. Once I got home, I was able to sleep for about six hours straight. Sometimes, I feel like it’s best to be in my own bed. I felt that on Saturday evening, but Mia wanted me to stay with her.

Sunday morning, I felt a little tired from the middle-of-the-night anxiety, but I met up with Aiden, Ritvik, Connor, and Mia at University Hall and went to Brunch Club with them. Dylan Campbell recommended the restaurant, which was Sunnyside All Day Brunch Cafe. Wonderful food and conversations. I got a turkey plate and a very fancy hot chocolate. On the way back, Ritvik forgot to get an Uber XL so the five of us squeezed into a four-passenger car. The guys got into a heated discussion so the driver was very nice.
