Art’s First Festival, Mom and Dad’s Visit, Cafe Vittoria Walk By, Finals Week

Another busy week in the Cambridge household, which started with Lesley’s Quadfest on Friday. This weekend marked the Arts First and Mayfair festivals. I even performed with Cambridge Common Voices in the Arts First Festival. Many of the singers attended, although there were a couple who were unable to make it. Meanwhile, my parents came to visit to provide a little extra support during this hectic week. They even listened to me sing, although Mia did not attend this concert.

After my concert, we went to dinner in the North End at an Italian restaurant called Prezza. The food was tasty and Mia and I got bolognese (hers with gnocchi, mine with gluten-free gnocchi, Dad got a shrimp pasta, and Mom got halibut. After dinner, we walked to an ice cream place called Dochi, right by Cafe Vittoria (one of Pragatti’s recommended places). While in line, I said “Mia, there are so many options that we need to come back sometime this summer”

Yesterday, I got a lot of my movie project done. Mom and Dad stopped by the apartment for a bit, and then all four of us walked down to the Charles for me to get some work done. Although she was not in the room with us, Mia walked down and checked out the Mayfair festival, even though it was raining. She then sat in the hotel library and chilled before we capped the weekend off with dinner at Source.
