On Sunday, I participated in a day trip in New York City with Threshold students and alumni, which was a lot of fun. I hung with Eli and Lauren at lunch, and then Lauren attended the Top of Rock Activity, so Eli and I hung out with a woman named Natalie, who is coming to Croatia and Slovenia.
Eli and I spent a lot of time in Midtown and Central Park; his brother even joined us for part of the day. We didn’t go to any museum because they were too expensive and we wanted to save money. We thought about visiting the Met or the Central Park Zoo but we had limited time.
The day was capped off with dinner at Yard House in Times Square. Getting to the restaurant was a bit hectic because I originally got an Uber to Long Island but canceled it and then when we got to Times Square, we had to walk a bit of a ways.
