This was the first week back on campus. It’s hard to condense a week into a few paragraphs, but here are some highlights for me.
Tuesday was move in day. Lauren is my new roommate and we are going to have a wonderful year — so much better than last. She moved in at 9am and I moved in at 3pm so there were so many hours in between. We are settled into the room and then went down to Washburn for dinner and a welcome party. Some students took the shuttle, but we walked. My parents offered to come to the rescue, but we decided we could walk with our umbrellas. The Welcome Party was such a success and I helped four first year students get back to Kris, although we made a wrong turn.

Yesterday, while the first year students had Convocation, we took an adventure to Broadway for a Travel Training adventure. We had a class session and then we went into a training center to look at a Blue and Green Line train that was not moving. After that, we took a bus to Andrew and then the Red Line home.
Today, I took the Red Line to Kendall/MIT and walked around the MIT campus. The museum was not open, but it was nice to check out the campus.
