I had a wonderful game night playing Uno with my fellow Threshold colleagues Sydney, Molly, Amira and an undergraduate student named Sarah. We played one hand of cards and decided to play to see who finished in second, third and fourth places. It was really fun and although I did not win, I still hadContinue reading “Game Night”

New People, Walk with Bear-Bear and Eliana’s Return
While Eliana was away in Connecticut, I hung out with Mia. She and I ate dinner together on Saturday, ate brunch yesterday and walked to get my prescription from Walgreens together. It was so much fun. On Saturday, I even took a walk with Mom and Dad to get ice cream at JP Licks inContinue reading “New People, Walk with Bear-Bear and Eliana’s Return”
Single Room Tonight
I have survived my first two weeks at Threshold really well. At the two-week interval, the room has been a mess, but I did a very deep clean of it. Eliana and I are hoping to keep it this way for the rest of the year. I am proud of myself and hope to sleepContinue reading “Single Room Tonight”
Update on First Week
We have had some ups and downs over the past two weeks since arriving at Lesley. I have written letters to Ms. Sidoti and FaceTimed with both my parents. We have had quite a bit of drama but it has been okay. We had a leak and more drama. I have done quite well inContinue reading “Update on First Week”
Official Start
Today, school has officially begun. The classes that I have today include Business Support Services, Computer Literacy and our First Year Seminar. I have enjoyed spending time at University Hall. Because of the rain this morning, I decided to take the shuttle from Doble to Porter Campus instead of walking. Instead of eating lunch atContinue reading “Official Start”
Flexability and Navigation
We had some changes in our original plan because there was so much rain and we have to get tested tomorrow. Instead of having our scavenger hunt like we had planned, we took a trip down to the Student Union and checked out the mail room. We also had to do a covid test, whichContinue reading “Flexability and Navigation”
September 7/8
I have moved into my dorm with the help of both of my parents. It was sweet and we got to meet the Nardellis because they came up to the room. Eliana had moved into the room two hours before me. We spent the afternoon running around campus together because there was a leak inContinue reading “September 7/8”
Arriving in Boston
We arrived in Boston two days ago after stopping at Stuart and Martha’s place in Rochester, NY. I am so happy and we have bought everything that I need for college: laundry detergent, a bedside table, a rug, a printer and dryer sheets. I am so happy to start this new chapter in my life.Continue reading “Arriving in Boston”
Pre-Threshold
We have done so much to get ready for Threshold. My parents are spending sometime in Boston and we sent some of our stuff in advance. My dad even went to Boston a few weeks ago to receive it because the building will not receive deliveries of furniture in our absence. The sixth floor isContinue reading “Pre-Threshold”
