We just finished the end-of-summer part of our vacation, which was to Martha’s Vineyard and it was a great closure before move in. Unfortunately, the remarks of various hurricanes were moving through Massachusetts this past week, so the weather was not what I would dream about for a beach vacation. Highlights of the trip

Final Week at Home
After Spain beat England in the Women’s World Cup, we were able to switch our minds over to planning for school. I, for once, have been more prepared than I was in previous years and I think it was because I gave myself more time to be organized and even had less stuff because weContinue reading “Final Week at Home”
Preparing for School

My class selection has been 99% finalized, although we may postpone the Theories and Personalities class until the Spring due to my busy schedule. I also created brackets with theContinue reading “Women’s World Cup”
Bastille Day
On Friday night, I went into the city with my friend Charlotte and we went to Bastille Day, which is the France version of the Fourth of July. It was nice to check it out in the United States, although it was just live music. We took the train to Union station and then walkedContinue reading “Bastille Day”
Fourth of July
We had a great modified Fourth of July celebration although we did not go to the big party at our local club like we normally do. Instead, I made kababs with strawberries, blueberries and pound cake. We still went to our friends house for fireworks and it was a blast. On Tuesday, we had aContinue reading “Fourth of July”
Power Outage, NASCAR
This morning we had our first power outage because of the rain. It was so bad that the NASCAR race that was going to happen got postponed. I, meanwhile did 2 straight days of heavy cardio in a row
