Red Sox Game and Portland

On Monday night, I attended a Red Sox Game with Eli and Lukas. Although they lost, it was a lot of fun to attend and spend time with them. We met at Lukas’ apartment and took the Red Line from Porter to Park Street and then took the Green Line to Kenmore, which is the nearest T to Fenway Park.

Thursday morning, Rena and I closed up shop and headed to North Station to meet Susanne and other alumni for an overnight trip to Portland, Maine. It was a lot of fun and we even sat next to each other on the train. Getting to North Station was not very hard, and we even got a ride to the station from Rena’s mom. Upon arrival, some people took a hotel shuttle and others walked to the hotel. We then went to a sunset festival right by our hotel and there were a variety of food trucks.

On Friday, Rena and I wandered into the Old Port, Portland’s main downtown area, and spent a few hours together. It was a lot of fun and we even did some shopping. It was a lot of fun checking out various parts of downtown. In the afternoon, most of the group went on a scenic train while Ellie, Jenna and I continued to explore downtown and the Harbor. That evening, the entire group went to a Sea Dogs Game at Delta Dental Park and it included a two hour all you can eat buffett. Delicious.

On Saturday, we headed to the Portland train station and headed home. Rena’s mom was able to pick us up at the same spot she left us before. That’s all for now. Stay tuned for Vermont with Mom and Dad.
