Winchester Excursion, CCV

What a very busy (in a hectic way) week. Rena and I had a couple of electrical issues in our apartment over the past couple of days, and last Wednesday, an electrician even came over to help and had to turn the power off to the efficiency. Rena’s dada came up and took us to Cambridge Common while the electrician was here, so we could stay out of his way. Eventually it turned out there was a bad smell in the bathroom so we spent a night at Rena’s parents’ house in Winchester. She slept in her room and I slept in her brother’s room.

Thursday morning, I spent some time at University Hall, and Rena attended an outing to Canobie Lake Park. The apartment was still being worked on, so I was unable to return until around lunchtime. Eventually I was able to go back and even got a brand new AC. Everyone saved the day.

On Saturday, I attended the ACDA conference and concert with Cambridge Common Voices. Unlike most concerts, we wore black to match the other singers in the choir. Similar to the Longwood concert, we were the first to perform, unlike at Berklee, where we lost a bunch of time. Most of the singers who attended the event (around 1/4 of the normal crew) went to Boston Burger Company for dinner. Due to restrictions, we had one card between two people.
