On Saturday, we went to the Boston Pizza Festival at City Hall Plaza, where the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl Haven was located. It was fun, but they didn’t have any gluten-free pizza vendors. On top of that, I got separated from Mia for part of it. Eventually, I ran into Jeff, who is another Threshold alumnus who lives near us. He was my hero because he ultimately found a gluten-free vendor (although it was just samples) and helped me reunite with Mia.

Yesterday, we met up for brunch with Molly and her sister. Mia, Molly, and her sister were supposed to meet for dinner on Saturday, but Molly and her sister missed their flight. I was supposed to meet Eli for dinner on Saturday and didn’t want to ditch him or leave Mia so we all had dinner together and then took a walk to the park.
The past two days have been brutally hot, so Mia has been sleeping in my room (she also did this on Friday night. It is the only place in the house with air conditioning.
