With so much chaos, I spent a week and a half at home, and it was nice to get a chance to regroup before officially diving into the summer. As part of our official kickoff, along with Tom, we went to a Chicago Women’s Soccer Game at SeatGeek Stadium, about 20 minutes from the house. They were playing the Kansas City team and lost but we ended up having a nice time.
On Sunday, we went downtown and took a tour of Lake Michigan from Navy Pier. It was very similar to the boat ride Mom, Dad, and I had taken on the Chicago River, but it was not private. We learned about some of the sites such as various lighthouses and it was a blast.
