Last Saturday, Cambridge Common Voices was invited to perform with the Longfellow Symphony Orchestra. Unlike at Berklee College, where we lost a lot of time with no plan, we were the first act. Some singers watched the rest of the orchestra, but Dylan and I headed home after, even travelling together,
On Tuesday night, Cambridge Common Voices held its Spring Open Mic Night, and many soloists performed. I sang the theme song “Together We Sing.” Before singing, I gave a mini speech about who we are. Many people in the audience are thinking about joining the group in the Fall.
Last night, we had our annual Alumni BBQ, which was a blast. Many staff members, along with their spouses and children, came; it was very family-friendly. There were also many alumni, including Alyssa, who was visiting from Canada. It was also Marina’s birthday, and she almost had her first drink at Puttshack with Senior Week but forgot her ID.
