Patriots Day Weekend (Hint: A Hectic One)

This weekend was quite hectic because Mia was not feeling well, prompting Carolyn to fly to Boston. Eventually, they decided to stay at the hotel together instead of leaving Mia at the apartment with me. Every day, she was feeling a little better, then a little worse. A hectic period for sure.

I attended an alumni event called Cookies and Coloring on Friday and an event at Made by Me on Saturday. There were many old and new faces, and Mary Davitt organized Made by Me without Susanne. Meanwhile, Mia, Carolyn, and I went to Starbucks when I got back, and then they stayed at a different hotel. I ended my day meeting up with Eli for dinner.

On Sunday, we thought Mia was feeling better, and we met for brunch at the Cheesecake Factory, but she wasn’t feeling well again. After eating, we returned to the hotel, where they went to their room and I stayed in the lobby. It was the same hotel that Mom, Dad, and I had stayed at when we visited Threshold. Eventually, they decided to fly to DC.

I have been enjoying a nice quiet space. I spent this morning cleaning it so that I can feel more relaxed. Hopefully, next weekend will be much better.
