We’ve had a mini dry spell on the blog, and I will restart here. Mom and Dad came to visit, although Mom stayed a few extra days after Dad left. Mom arrived on Friday around lunchtime and Dad arrived late at night that same day. We met for lunch at the Little Crepe cafe and then had an early dinner at the Abbey. After dinner, I went to Marren Theatre to watch the Lesley University Dance Show. There were many old faces on the team.

On Saturday, Mom and I took an Uber to work as a special Mom treat and then the four of us met at the apartment after Mom and Dad ate lunch at Stoked. I had a special concert at the Berklee Music Center but we lost a bunch of time due to tech issues with the instrumental group that performed before us. Andy said that we will make sure to have dinner plans in the future. When the rehearsal was finally over, I met Mom, Dad and Mia at an Irish pub which was just down the row. We then had the performance which was a big success. Although we didn’t sing any of our originals, it was successful.
Sunday morning, the four of us met at Friendly Toast for brunch and we even took an Uber because of the rain. Mia got a chocolate chip pancake, I got a mushroom omelet and we both had leftovers the following day. We all stopped at the apartment for some housekeeping pieces and then Mia and I went to a puppy therapy event with other Threshold students and alumni. We, along with Carly, traveled with the students but everyone else met us there. We didn’t do any yoga but we played with the puppies. Rena and her father even came along.

Yesterday, I went to the Harvard Museum of Natural History and had a blast. I loved the human skeletons and dinosaurs. Unlike London, where there’s too much to see in one visit, I was able to see the whole museum in an hour.
