MFA, Welcome Back to Campus

Welcome back to campus; with such a long winter break and no course overlap between semesters, the Spring Semester is like starting a new school year. We have been re-settling into our apartment really well

On Monday, I went to the Museum of Fine Arts, and the line was so long because it was a free day that they let me enter through the disability/group entrance instead of the main entrance. Since I had seen most of the permanent collection earlier with my friend Eli, I chose to focus on some temporary exhibits, such as Power of Democracy.

We started a bit on the rocky side because Mia had a stuffy nose, and then it turned into a cold, but we are feeling so much better now. On Wednesday, we attended a Welcome Back to Campus Resource party, similar to the one last Spring both at University Hall. In Spring 2023, it was at Alumni Hall on Doble Campus and they didn’t do anything in Spring 2022 due to staggered arrivals. There were a lot of resources such as the counselling center, health services and it was also a mini carnival with popcorn and cotton candy.

This weekend, Nathalie came to visit us on Saturday and we went into Harvard Square where we ate at Subway and then went to Gap to find black pants for Mia but didn’t have any success. Yesterday, we got a FaceTime with some of my high school friends and we were going to do one with Sally, Ted, Rachel and Martha/Stuart but they didn’t show up so we are doing it on Super Bowl Sunday. For dinner, we had Chinese lo mein which was delicious but had a veggie overflow.
