Happy New Year to everyone. Tom left on December 30, so our New Year was just the three of us. It was still very fun to welcome 2025. Next year, I hope to get to Pasadena, California to watch the Rose Bowl Parade in person. As usual, we watched the ball drop in New York at midnight eastern time and then we watched a bash in Nashville which is on the same time zone as us.
On Saturday, we went into the city and checked out the Art Institute of Chicago. It was a lot of fun and I really liked the Impressionism collections. Some of the artists that I was interested in were Edward Hopper, Vincent Van Gogh and Monet.
Today, we took a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation house. He lived there for about 9 years before he and his wife separated and was a famous architect. We got to see both the house and the studio that he worked at with clients.
