We have almost made it to the end of the semester and I have a lot to report from this past week. Here are some highlights from me.
Threshold Transition Potluck: Instead of our regular class for Navigating Independent Living, we had a potluck in the Alumni Center. The entire Transition class attended, including Belle’s roommate Casey. She completed the transition year last year and graduated with us. I loved that students enjoyed nibbling on the cookies that I made while Mia was at the zoo light walk.
Annual Threshold Holiday Party: On Thursday, Yvonne canceled class so that we all had time to attend the Holiday Party that Susanne and Sam put on every December. Many students, alumni, and even faculty and staff members attended. Various games, such as musical chairs and a candy cane toss were there. Saumya even came and she has plans to go to India later this month.

Two Holiday Markets: This weekend, there were two-holiday markets that we checked out in Cambridge. Yesterday, we went to Kendall Square Canal District, which we had gone to our first year with Kyle, Aidan, and Sam and today we went to the Harvard Square Market. Santa used my debit card today and we had crepes for lunch yesterday.
