Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone. Mia and I both had the chance to go home for Thanksgiving and I even had the apartment to myself for a few days before and after. Let me recap everything that has happened,
It was too expensive for Dave and Carolyn to fly Mia on Tuesday and Sunday so she has a -1 Day before and +2 days after. This means that I am by myself until Tuesday. Last Tuesday, I was able to fly home and it was smooth. I even gate checked (as usual) and the agent was friendly and his daughter is a Lesley alumni.
We picked up my Sweet Alis order after my yoga class on Wednesday, but the line was very long. Mom even came to keep me company. I thought there would be an express order for pick up but there was not.
Thursday was Thanksgiving and we had a one-course buffet-style dinner. The meal consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. It was delicious.
We didn’t end up going downtown on Friday or Saturday because of the cold. Hopefully Christmas will be more energetic.
