On Sunday, Beth Santos, a group of current students, and alumni, and I went to a Celtics pre-season game. I was seated with Carly, but she was camera shy so we didn’t take a selfie. Since we had a few extra tickets, one of Beth’s friends Michelle came. There were not many current students likely due to the long weekend and I predict that a lot of the students went home. Since the away team was from Toronto, they sang the National Anthem for both Canada and the United States. Oh and the Orange Line was down so we tried to change at Downtown Crossing, but had to go back to Park Street.

There was so much cheering that I started to lose my voice. Yesterday, we went to the Seaport district to check out a bakery called “Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery”. It was not owned or named after her but enjoyed it. I got a gluten-free cupcake and an herbal team while Mia got a cookie and a hot chocolate. It was a fun outing and we left via Porter but came back via Harvard.
