It was a great birthday weekend and Dad even came to see us. I really enjoyed having the company. Upon his arrival, I was still at work, so Mia was the one who let him in and they walked up together. When I got back, we walked up to Porter Square and went to Panera for lunch followed by a stop at the Hardware store. After that, Dad and Mia stopped at Violette and I walked back to the apartment so that I could be surprised. We then walked to the Porter Square area and got dinner from various Asian restaurants.
Yesterday was my actual birthday. Lydia called to wish me a happy birthday, which is how I got up while Mia went to breakfast with Adam and Ryan. They later came by the apartment, which I was not expecting. Upon their arrival, I got dressed to look more presentable and we did some karaoke in the living room. After they left to meet folks at the Red Sox Game, Dad came over and we went to a birthday lunch at Cambridge Common. Aunt Erin, Uncle Jamey, Drew and Lydia joined as well. We even had a cake that Dad and Mia had picked for me and the Brenners brought a gift for me and a housewarming gift for me. The day was capped off with a Dad and me dinner at Barcelona.
