Another year is about to begin and I am very excited to move into my first apartment. We had thought about doing an overnight in Chicago, but the weather was really hot this weekend. Even though we didn’t manage to get to this, we went to lunch at Shanghai Terrace, which is a fancy restaurant inside the Peninsula Hotel. We even got a dessert of Chocolate Cake and Strawberry Sorbet with berries.
On the homefront, after doing a lot of puzzles, especially in 2020 during COVID-19, Mom and I glued my two most recent puzzles, which are going to become art for my apartment. Since I am over 20, we are no longer doing paper butterflies, but one of the puzzles is butterflies, which is a great replacement.
