Another busy week in the family.
On Wednesday, Dad took the train downtown because we met up with him to go on a boat ride picnic along the Chicago River. It was a private and self-driven boat so there was no staff member present. I even drove the boat for a little bit. Some of the sites that we saw were the Willis Tower, several bridges, and several glassed-architecture buildings. We did overpack on food for the picnic and finished the day with dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
Today, we went to Par-King, which is a mini-golf course with various themes. Everyone played 18 holes and it was a blast. Some of my favorite themes were the fish and the castle, which I know Eli would love.
We also built my dresser for my apartment. I am very excited about this.
