Threshold Semi-Formal, Patriots Day Weekend

I just realized I never had a chance to write about our long weekend. There were a handful of students who went home, but surprisingly, most stayed on campus. On Saturday night, we had our annual semi-formal and I loved being able to see a lot of students, alumni, and even some faculty and staff at the event. Sydney, Dylan, and Chloe came. We also had some longer distant alumni like Sebastian who came up from New York for the weekend. A lot of current students came as couples such as Maggie & Belle, Carly & Andrew or Ben A & Marina. I loved seeing so many people dressed up. After guests were allowed, Thomas came up with Eliana.

On Sunday, in honor of Patriots Day Weekend, I took a walk along the Freedom Trail in Boston. Since I was not sure how to get home from these places, I skipped the sites in Charlestown (the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument) but I hope to visit them one day. Some of the original sites like the Latin School or the Old Corner Bookstore have been transformed into retail.

Monday was Patriots Day and I did not go to the marathon because it was too crowded. We were going to go on a picnic but the grounds were too wet. I cut up some vegetables and fruit and put them in the Wilbur lounge instead.
