First Week of School

Welcome Back to School. Lesley gives us such as long winter break that it feels like Spring Semester is starting a new school year. Mia and I have been back at school for just over a week. I feel quite relaxed after my break so I guess five weeks at home with family and taking a class was a big help to me. On Monday, there was a Welcome Back to Campus Resource Party, which was held inside the lobby of University Hall. They did this in the Spring 2023 in Alumni Hall — which is where the activity fair was and will be this semester — but they did not do anything for Spring 2022 due to staggered arrivals.

We are budgeting more time for each other this semester and hopefully that will make us close enough that we want to get an apartment together. One of our classes is an OT group with Pam Vaughn and several graduate students from Boston University. Today, we talked about some of the things we would like to work on. When it comes to recreation, we have done most of the activities in the dorms like Kareoke nights, Candy and Coloring and tonight Watercolors to name just a few.

Beyond campus, I went to Stoked on Saturday night with Dylan, Ritivik and his family to celebrate his 22nd birthday and on Sunday we went to Cambridge Common together. I also went to the Chocolate Expo with Threshold Alumni and it was delicious chocolate. I even brought some home to Mia so that she could have a small taste of it.

As a side note, Holly, Catherine and Mia (their intern) met with several internship partners that are new to them.
