Harvard Bookstore, Boston International Antique Book Fair, Halloween Dance Party, Carmel Apples

Another busy weekend here in Cambridge, but based on the title, you can guess the highlights, I assume, right.

On Saturday, we, along with Maddie, Lauren and Marc went to the Harvard Bookstore. It was one of Maddie’s recommended places. I got a head start on my holiday shopping and even met them there due to my work schedule.

From there, I went to the Boston International Antique Book Fair, which was located in the Hynes Convention Center. They checked my bag to make sure I did not bring a book in or out of the book fair. It was so expensive that I did not buy anything there. From there, I walked into the Prudential Center and then took the Orange Line from Back Bay to Downtown Crossing and finally the Red Line back home.

Later, we met up with Maddie and some of the other students in Wilbur for a Halloween Dance Party. It was a lot of fun. Oh and by the way, one of the artists has the same initials as Mia — Michael Jackson and Mia Jeppsen.

Today, we met up with a group of students in Kris to make carmel apples. It was a lot of fun and there was more than caramels — sprinkles, and even M&M’s. Next weekend, we will likely stay closer to home or much more low key. We might do one outing though, although the Red Line is down from Kendall/MIT to Alewife, which is right where we live.
