Head of the Charles Regatta/Performing Arts/Cambridge River Festival

We just went to the Head of the Charles Regatta/Performing Arts Series/Cambridge River Festival. event yesterday, even though it was going to be on Saturday when it rained. After my usual morning routine, we met up with Sarah and a bunch of first year students and walked to the Head of the Charles Regatta event. It was so much fun. Mia was almost going to do Six Flags or Salem but chose the Head of the Charles so we could stay together. I wanted to do Salem, but declined so that I could stay closer to home.

When we all got to the pedestrian only bridge, we established pods so that we were not alone. Two of the students wanted to be a pod of three with Sarah, there was a pod of four and we were a pod of two. I got a taco plate for lunch and we mainly sat and watched a bit of the race. It was not as crowded as Salem would’ve been, but it was still crowded. I had gone two years ago with Eliana but it was more crowded to the extent that once there, we were on our own. There was even a welcome band right by the meeting point this year.
