We have just returned from our vacation to San Destin. It was a gorgeous beach vacation and the waves were so calm, that we got yellow flags for seven days straight.
Highlights of the trip
Golf Carting: The house that we rented came with a golf cart and we used to to get to the beach, grocery store and to dinners in the Water Color town. Unfortunately, there were not as many bike trails as advertised so we did not do as much biking as planned, but for sure this was a huge make up for it.
Tom Coming: We were there for ten days and on Saturday (which is changeover day for most people), Uncle Tom joined us. He was there for almost a full week.
Lazy River and Beach Raft: We checked out the lazy river and Dad and I even rafted in it using nothing but the waves. I even did the same thing with a beach raft.
Beach and Club: The waves were gorgeous and we spent many hours at the beach. At the club, there were four different pools that we got to check out. One thing that I noticed is that we had to scan our wristbands in order to gain access.
