I have just returned to Boston from my second time in South Carolina and my first time in North Carolina. The weather was a bit colder than last year, even though it was further north and March. We had a bit of a drive to/from Charlotte as flights to/from Savannah were more expensive.
Anyway, here are the highlights from the trip.
Beach Biking: We were on the higher tide side for a lot, but when we had a low tide, we still biked on the beach and I continued to be the leader.
Biking into Town: Since we were closer to the coast than the Sea Pine gate this year, we were able to bike into town. Sometimes Mom and I would do it on a girls outing and sometimes we all did it together.
Go-Karting/NASCAR style: Dad and I did go-karting. This really helped prepare me for my driving lessons this summer.
Ice Cream: We did not have as much ice cream as a dream beach vacation but still we enjoyed it.
Horse Riding: Dad and I really enjoyed having a day of horse riding on trail.
Beach: We finally got warmer weather to be on the beach during the last day of our stay on Hilton Head
