On Wednesday, which was Mom’s birthday, we went out to a local fancy restaurant called Vie, which was her choice. One of the things that I learned was that they are on a pre-fixed meal with three courses and one price. Mom and Dad even participated in the wine tasting of all the courses. For the soup/salad course, we all participated in the soup course and they pour the soup at the table. I found that very interesting.
We moved the celebration back to the house and had cake (Toni’s Lemon cake for Mom and Dad but Gluten Free Sweet Alis cupcake for me). After that, we watched Mom open presents — a phone from Dad and an L mug from me.
On Thursday, I got a new computer, which is the same type as my old one, but the only difference is that it has more storage. Still, I have to be careful and not fill it up because it is not endless storage.
