We had a minor incident after the New Year on our Fantasy Football league because of Damar Hamlin’s injury. It caused the Bills-Bengels game to get cancelled. This was the first time in NFL history this has happened. The following week was the first Bill-Patriots game in Buffalo since Kaydee Lyons passed. It really made me think of her, and of the Beverwyck crew in Albany (Sally, Ted, Dwight and Rachel).
The final four teams that made the playoffs were Mom, Dad, Aunt Marty and I. At the end of the first round, Aunt Marty beat Mom and I beat Dad, which left the championship game to Aunt Marty and I. At the end of Sunday night, I ended up getting first place.
I also did some volunteer work at the Westchester Food Pantry. The first day, I had signed up for a Registration Crew, which I needed training for, so I was not able to participate. I was able to help with Pet Food. Yesterday, I helped in the lobby with packing food.
I also saw a trainer yesterday for the first time. We are hoping I continue this summer.
