Happy New Year. At our (casual) New Years Eve dinner, we talked about things that we are going to work on in the upcoming calendar year.

• Not using a phone at the dinner table

As for me

• Continue the adaptive pause with Lydia
• Communicate with my parents more
• Reduce impulses and control emotions
• Spend small amounts of money

I personally love the fact that, even when the dorms are closed, I am still able to keep in touch with my college friends. I am really looking forward to getting us all back together in the new year, which I think Ashna (who is in Thailand) has already rung into when it was lunchtime for me. We also had a phone call with the Mitchells (Stuart and Martha). We are hoping to fit in the Brenners (from both houses), Anna’s household and Lauren.
