We have had a mix of festive time and normal work between Christmas and New Years. First of all, I would like to talk about the Escape Room.
On Tuesday, the four of us piled into the Q5 and headed into La Grange for an Escape Room. It was a very challenging room and we had the split personality. This meant that we were in two rooms connecting to each other. My suggestion was to do the boy-girl split so Mom and I were creative and Dad and Tom were logical. In the girl’s room, Mom and I spent about 30 minutes getting going but then found various clues, ultimately unlocking all of our doors. On the boy’s side Dad and Tom were not able to unlock them all so Aria was not saved. Luckily, our friends, which were a group of eight, were able to help her recover.
We also watched Matilda over the last two nights. I especially liked the ending where Miss Honey becomes the head of her school and takes Matilda.
Tonight, we went to the illumination lights at the Arboritum. It was a walk through and the weather was not as bad as 2017. We walked through and there was even a light scene that Dad, Tom and I made shadows. There was even a tree that pretended to be a person and that was my favorite part.
