Thanksgiving, Patriots Game

Since the dorms closed, we have been quite busy because we started with walking around the holiday market in the Seaport district. We did not buy anything but Casey and I are going to try to get to the market when we are back on campus. It has a lot of things other Fantasy Football players would like.

On Wednesday we drove up North to Stowe Vermont and the group had three cars (it was originally two but the Brenners had a computer delivery that they had to be present for). We got to the house at around 4pm with Erin and Drew trailing behind us at 6:30pm. I also did a lot of work on my outline for my final paper.

On Thursday Jamey and Christopher arrived and, we started the day with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and it made me think of Team Utah (Vanessa, Drew, Moose, Zelda, Dewey, Sydney, John, Alex, Kim, Karen, Jeff, Nevin, Nina, RIya, Neerija, Renu, Hudson, Natascha, Marcus, Lucas, Keira, Kate, Jackie, Margaret, Mattie, Scott, Meredith, Greg, Sam, Emma, Molly, Lynne, Kate, Dirck, Phillipe, Helene, Zoe, Margo, Wynne, Henre, Mason, Riley, Parker, Zoe, Brin, Theo, Holly and Glynn Siblings) because both groups are set in New York. My favorite act was the beginning where a bunch of groups were dancing — notice that I was on LUDT? It is a relaxing way to work out and be creative.

Later in the day, we had our Thanksgiving dinner and the cooking was divided from Needham, Seaport and Stowe — Cambridge did not bring anything. I helped made corn pudding and cranberry sauce. By the time we sat down to eat, it was 4pm, which is even very early by US standards.

At night, we watched part of the Patriots Game, which was part of the Thanksgiving Day football. I was wearing my Patriots Day shirt and loved it

We spent most of Black Friday at the house due to the weather, but Small Business Saturday was a blast. I was able to find presents for the Brenners, plus Pete and Marty. It was nice to be on the high street and shop local. Most of the stores were local instead of the big chains. We also drove by one of the oldest bridges from the pioneer days
