Cambridge Half Marathon, Veterans Day, Symphony Hall/Boston Symphony Orchestra, Mary Baker Library, Newbury Street

Last Sunday, I volunteered (at the last minute) for the Cambridge Half Marathon. It was interesting because my shift started at five thirty in the morning, so I had to take a Lyft there. Most of the time was orientation but the last thirty minutes was active volunteer work. On the way back, I took the Green Line from Lechemare to Park Street and then the Red Line from Park Street to Harvard.

Friday was Veterans Day so we did not have classes and our internship. We met Ellie outside of Wilbur and walked into Cambridge. We started at the Harvard bookstore and then went to Ben and Jerrys. On the way back, we saw some veteran statues which made me think of Uncle Doug and Aunt Debbie plus Bryan, Tyler, Casey, Katie, Avery, Emma and Wringle

Last weekend was the first weekend that Ava’s was reopened since arriving for my second year at Threshold. I was really excited — throughout the earlier part of this year, I had to either deal with an express menu or go all the way to South, but I am happy now that Ava’s has reopened at last.

On Saturday, Mom and I met up in the Symphony area of Boston, but we were really late for the concert that we were going to attend. It was also a family youth concert so we were not as into it. We then tried to get a tour of the Mary Baker globe, but were late for that. Eventually, we decided to head back to Cambridge.
