Apple/Pumpkin Picking, Salem/Haunted Happenings/Ghost Tour, Bruins Game, Topsfield Fair

Mom and Dad picked me up on Saturday and we went to Andover to go Apple Picking. I also picked out a pumpkin from the same farm. We got one bag and the apples brands were: Jonagored, Macoun, Courtland and Macintaush. I was the taster and loved them all. Some of them were sweet and some of them were more tart. I also picked a pumpkin that is going to go in my dorm room.

We drove to downtown Andover to check it out and then continued onto our ghost tour in Salem. It was really crowed and we were not able to find parking. Therefore, Mom and I got out and had a little girls walk. It was really crowded due to the haunted market that is going on each weekend in October. I tried to take pictures, but there were a lot of people around. One thing I noticed is that every tour guide had a witch stick as their baton.

We got back to Seaport, rested for a couple of hours, and then Dad and I went to a Bruins Game at TD Garden. I had been to the Garden with Chloe a few months ago, but it was just a guided tour. I loved being able to see it as a game. They were playing the Devils and we stayed for two 20-minute period. When we got back, Dad mentioned how there was a lot of bad language.

Today, we went to Topsfield Fair. I had always wanted to go and Threshold used to plan an outing, which stopped since we don’t have Lesley vans. I got chowder in a bread bowl for lunch while Mom and Dad got a bbq combo. Some of the things we saw were goats and there was even a pumpkin comptition. There was a fruits and vegetables building that had the first place pumpkin while the second and third place pumpkins were right next to each other.
