Since it is my first Fourth of July on the Blog, I asked the Siblings Square (Aunt Marty, Uncle Pete, Uncle Tom, Auntie Erin and Uncle Jamey) to write guest exerts on how their Fourth went.
In Atlanta (Aunt Marty and Uncle Pete — “I” is Aunt Marty)
Peter and I went to St Augustine and got together with some of my cousins. Pete made Brazilian steak on Sunday. We also had a Fourth of July Party where Pete and I had red and white drinks.

In Glenwood Springs (Uncle Tom — “I is him”)
I played golf in Colorado with my new clubs. It was just me, although I made a joke about visiting some cousins in Pagosa. I also had some shadows. I was going to bike but that got cancelled. I also spent some time at Mark’s

In Boston (Auntie Erin, Uncle Jamey, Christopher and Drew “I is Auntie Erin)
We went to Maine and spent it with my parents. Jamey and Drew went to see the new Minon movie with one of Drew’s friends. On Saturday we picked out cheese to take to Maine but we did not drive up until Sunday. Ophie came with us while my parents boarded their dog. Before going to Maine, we played card games since it was too rainy to go outside.

In Chicago (Mom, Dad and I)
On Saturday, the 2nd, we drove into Chicago and saw a Van Gogh exhibit. It was tricky getting downtown but once we were there it was worth it. We started at an Italian restaurant and I got a gluten free pasta while Mom and Dad shared a bunch of other things. The Van Gogh exhibit was slow but the audio helped me stay focus.
On Sunday, we had our annual Fourth of July party at our club. The Stortz’s (Jen, Eric, Emily Ian and Ashley in the family) and Callaghans (Tim, Anne, Mary Claire and Danny) came, but Ashley, and I were the only children. Since Sean was sick, the Padgetts (Brett, Jeanne, Sophie and Sean) could not come. I also made a Red, White and Blue cake that we will enjoy at other times because it is too hot to bring. We also had crepes for breakfast.. THere was a throw-up incident and they had to clear the pool. I swam my first ever relay. After, me, Sam, Alese, Garrett and Steph watched fireworks at the La Grange hospital.

On Monday, me, Sam, Alese and Steph went to the Hinsdale Fourth of July parade. I got lots of candy. My favorite floats were the Cars movie figure, the marching band, the firetrucks and the veterans.
