On Monday, I went to a Holiday party in Lesley University’s Alumni Hall. There were lots of people there and I hung with Anoushka, who is from India and Dubai. She also has family in Newton, who she likes to visit a lot. She has also lived in Kenya and Singapore.
Later Monday night, I did some yoga in the room. It was part of an old high school routine from Ms. Niego. She mentioned a lot of the same poses and it was nice to bring me back to the olden days. I remember Ellie used to do yoga classes at the beginning of the year, but she had to stop them.
On Tuesday and Thursday we had our Dress Rehearsal for our Dance Team. We have been told that we are not allowed to have outside visitors, we have to be there at 5pm sharp and we should keep outside conversations to a minimum. We also had team bonding on Friday.
On Thursday, I bought gifts for Secret Santa. I met Mom and Dad at Kris House and then we drove to Somerville. We bought lots of toys for the only two kids in the family and had a blast. We did not buy any clothing. Also, instead of the Secret Santa Rotary, we are donating gifts to Holiday Dream Foundation. In addition, to our purchases, we also ordered some of the gifts ahead of time.
On Saturday during the day, we went to Sky Zone. Ritfik, Ethan, Sydney and I shared an Uber to get there and then we met up with Eliana and Mr. Nardelli. We arrived about 30 minutes early because we did not know how long it would take to get there. It was a lot of fun and we played dodgeball, jumped around and took lots of photos. We had some confusion because Mia, Kyle and Aidan were suppose to come, but they did not end up coming with us.

On Saturday night, we had our Dance Team Show. Although there was no live audience for the show, we recorded it and people are able to watch it virtually. In a normal year, there would be three shows and Marren Theatre would always be packed. The day before, we helped decorate the theatre. It’s also Lydia’s final season and she will missed. We thanked her a the end and I even brought a card for students to sign. In addition, I brought munchkin donut holes that students feasted on at her last team bonding event. I was in Dance Like Your Daddy and Do Not Wait.
