On Veteran’s Day, we did not have class, which was kind of a bummer as I am used to having class and then getting the entire campus together for an assembly to honor our veterans. Susanne took me and a group of students out for travel training to South Station and Logan Airport.
We walked down to Harvard Square to catch the Red Line to South Station, but many of us needed to buy Charlie tickets. Once there, we had to wait a while to get the Silver Line to Logan Airport. You can tell you are following signs to Logan via an airplane sign. We did not get off at any terminal due to confusion, but we listened to the terminal and airline assignments. Oh and by the way, Norwegian no longer flies to the US so the signs are out of date.
Back at South Station, we took a tour and had a mini orientation at various train and bus lines. Some of them included the Commuter Rail, Amtrak, Greyhound and PeterPan. On the way back, I joined Joey and got off at Porter Square instead of Harvard Square.
At 1:30, Mom, Dad, Mia, Sydney and I went to lunch at the same place Mom and Dad took me to after move-in. Due to Sydney’s foot, we met at Kris and then we carpooled as a group of five. Dad dropped Mom, Sydney, Mia and I off to find parking as well. We had reservations for five and had wonderful conversations until the end when I got a bit silly. One of the notable things that we learned is that Mia went to Camp Akeela as a child adn then went to Beyond Akeela.
On Saturday, we had pancakes and waffles for breakfast. AJ even made them all gluten free, which was so nice. I just ate a pancake. Later in the day, I had my housekeeping day. I took garbage out and gave the room a very deep clean. I also returned a lot of Target purchases.
On Sunday, Sydney and Dylan had their two-month anniversary party. Chloe, Gabby, Anuishka, Mia, Ethan and I were also there. We ate and then gave speeches. Due to my dance schedule, I got to be the first speaker.
