We had some changes in our original plan because there was so much rain and we have to get tested tomorrow. Instead of having our scavenger hunt like we had planned, we took a trip down to the Student Union and checked out the mail room. We also had to do a covid test, which was not planned but required every week.
Every time I come back from the University Hall, I have needed to ask for directions to get back to my dorm. This morning, I needed directions to my covid test, which a wonderful undergraduate student was willing to give to me. She even took me to where I need to go. I have been eating in the White Hall with Undergraduate Students and they have been majoring in various topics. This weekend, Susanne is on duty, which is wonderful.
The night before last, I only got two hours of sleep so yesterday was a very easy day for me. I rallied through my orientation an all the required meetings. At lunch, we had a convocation reception for all students. At three, I took a two hour nap, where I actually fell asleep and then I took the night easy. Eliana was very nice and brought me my dinner. In return, she was not feeling her best this morning and I brought her breakfast.
